Southeast BioDiesel Sells First Load of B100 Fuel
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – Southeast BioDiesel is pleased to announce that on the morning of June 22, 2007, their first tanker load of 6,800 gallons of ASTM 6751, B100 fuel was sold to a blender/distributor in North Carolina.
Southeast BioDiesel (SEBD) is an independently owned and operated production facility based in North Charleston, SC. SEBD produces pure, clean burning biodiesel fuel from waste poultry fat, which can be used with or in place of petro-diesel fuel in all modern diesel engines with no modifications. When used in place of petro-diesel, biodiesel produces 78.4% fewer green house gas emissions. The fuel produced by SEBD is non-hazardous, non-carcinogenic, 100% biodegradable, and meets all regulatory standards.
