Olde North Charleston Business District – E. Montague Ave.
5:00-8:00PM · FREE · Take a stroll down East Montague Avenue through businesses, pubs, restaurants, studios, and salons to see works by local artists and fine craft artisans in a variety of subjects and mediums. Guitarists Steve Padgett and Pete Ledbetter will provide musical entertainment throughout the evening. Enjoy additional performances by Kim & Tom (acoustic duets) from 6:00-7:30PM, and Minor Gravity Quartet (jazz) from 6:15-7:15PM. Catch sneak-peaks of scenes from Theatre /verv/’s original production of Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew throughout the evening. Also, be sure to stop by the Art & Fine Craft Co-Op Gallery reception at the Meeting Place. While you’re there, check out a screening of the original film, Performing Arts Bootcamp, directed by award-winning filmmaker Nick Smith. Other attractions include an interactive light installation and children’s activities. It’s an evening of art and culture for the whole family!
